Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. Menlo Park Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Nothing on these pages or returned by a linked third-party tool may be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another decision governed by the FCRA.
How Current Is the Information?
Rolls are corrected, portals change, library holdings move, and fees or forms are revised. Pages are prepared from identified public sources, but no detail is guaranteed to be accurate or current at every moment. Confirm a record, fee, restriction, or office route with the custodian before relying on it.
Not Legal Advice
These explanations are not legal advice. They describe how Menlo Park, San Mateo County, California, court, library, and archive sources generally work. A licensed attorney is the proper source for advice about a dispute, title issue, protected record, or legal duty.
Use Records Lawfully
Public records support transparency and personal research, not harm. Do not use information from these pages to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or hurt anyone. Misuse can implicate California Penal Code section 646.9, other state law, federal law, voter-file restrictions, or a protective-order rule. It also violates the Terms of Use.
Linked Search Services
Some search boxes are supplied by outside companies. Menlo Park Residents Directory does not control their result sets, charges, collection methods, privacy practices, or uptime. Their output is not an FCRA-compliant consumer report and should be checked against the official custodian.
External Destinations
Links point to the San Mateo County ACRE, elections, GIS, court, and tax routes; Menlo Park city services; California portals; libraries; archives; and complaint channels. The destination controls its own content and availability. A link does not mean that the office endorses this private reference.
No Government Records Stored Here
These pages do not store a government roll, directory volume, court file, deed image, or vital certificate. They identify where those records may be searched, inspected, requested, or ordered. The responsible office decides whether a record exists, what may be released, how it is corrected, and what copy fee applies.
Questions
Questions about this disclaimer may be sent through the Contact page. A request for a record should go directly to the custodian named in the relevant source information.
